Just curious
I do.
I have a feeling that the Muse's Knights of Cydonia, Mims This is why I'm hot, MC Hammer's You Cant Touch this, Fort Minors Remember Thy Name, Jay-Z's Dirt Off Your Shoulders, The Offspring's You Gonna Go Far Kid, Death Cab for Cuties I will Possess Your Heart, Chris Cornell's You know my Name, Cake's The Distance Black Sabbath's Iron Man, and last but not least Justin Timberlake Sexyback would be playing a lot.
I'm feeling to lazy to link to them all so go at it yourself: youtube. when your listening think of me and how it would work. (some of these are insiders jokes, too bad for those of you who aren't on *whisper* the inside)
and if you have any more ideas comment away.
but again this is a sound track to my life... I think these are all fitting in one way or another.

hmmm...
At all. (well I got an half an hour 6:00am-6:30am) So what I did i do?
well I watched season 7 of scrubs.
played some football.
listened to some music.
thunked.
but at some point between 2:30-4:00, I can't remember when. I made some hot coco and went and sat outside.
I do that a lot, sometimes just watch the stars.
and while I don't know if I was out there for 10 minutes or 2 hours, it hit me.
What I wanted and should do with my life.
It made sense, and when I realized it, it was one of the most peaceful feelings in my life.
I stood up, feeling/wanting to tell someone but everyone was asleep. :(
And this morning, I still felt that peace.
but,
I couldn't/can't remember what I choose/decided/found out.
And it really really sucks.
and I don't know what to do (again)

some baseball talk
To me theres nothing quite like a baseball fight, the batter charges the mound, then benches empty THEN the bullpen comes (its always funny to see the fat pitcher chugging towards the fight like an nfl lineman only to show up late and miss the fight). its like three rounds of MMA with a lot more players. (Not gonna lie, most baseball players SUCK at fighting [richie sexson anyone?] but it can be fun to watch)
But heres why I want to see a fight between the Rays and Red Soxs.
The 'Soxs are the big boys on the block and know it, but the Rays wont let them push them around.
This post season has been awesome. Dodgers won, Philly won (probably my fav NL team)
and the rays give hope to me because if they can win then maybe, someday, the mariners have a chance.
While I hope Rays win, it doesn't matter who plays in the World Series its bound to a great one and (crossing my fingers) probably going 7 games.
though I always wonder why the catcher takes off his mask, with that on he can not be beaten. cept maybe with a bat but that earns you jail time.

The Bailout
Nothing like getting paid to do the wrong thing.
But mostly I don't want my kids STILL having to pay for something that their grandparents generation caused.

If I'm not back in five minutes... wait longer!
sooo, i havn't blogged in a while and can't give you a good reason why but heres a quick run down of my life.
This month has pretty much been up and down for me, good times and bad. Oh well, got to take the bad with the good i guess.
I have started school. I'm taking Psychology and Sociology. Since im paying for ALL of my school i'm a lot more serious about it. who woulda guessed?
i love football.
not gonna lie I almost cry when I think of what SHOULDA been with the mariners.
My dads not leaving for Japan. yea!
Brads leaving work, its gonna be really weird with him not around cracking jokes.
I think i need a new hobby, but can't think of one.
I have NOT been using shuffle on my ipod or itunes. Instead i've been listening to the albums the way they should be. (shocking aint it?)
I feel like adult. I know that I still having some growing up to do but I feel older and smarter.
Some times I feel like life is going to fast and at times going to slow.
I'm almost ready to start thinking about undoing my support for USC, just rip out my heart and crush my dreams one more time and see what happens. I dare you!
and you Washington! I can't revoke my undying support but please, please win some games please. Especially against someone whos named for a color and has this creepy mascot.
The army, navy, and marines are STILL calling me. How many times must I say no?
SNL has been freaking funny with all the political humor. If you havn't seen the opening SNL skit with Sara Palin and Hillary Clinton, WATCH IT! the debate was pretty freaking funny too.
my life and thoughts all quick like.

Portland/random people
But while those were talking, I tried to give them some space and so I just watched people. And I noticed some interesting things, but heres some of things that happened that I remember most.
A lady had her hands full of food and dropped a napkin. She didn't notice, but the guy coming towards her did, he picked up the napkin and threw it away. (also three people saw it fall and just keep on walking)
Next i noticed that more often then not people hold open doors for the people behind them.
It seemed like the more normal you are or look the more willing people are to help you.
All old people want to do is talk it seems like, and I don't really want to talk to them (their kinda nosy) but I feel bad when I leave.
Watching peoples eyes while walking (8 out of 10 times) they first would look at Lauree and I holding hands, then catch my eyes, then look at Lauree and smile.
Theres more but I really don't feel like writing them.
All in all, I had a great time at Portland.
I aint gonna promise anything, but you might (key word: might) see something more from Lauree or Baliee.
Rambo
As a guy the Rambo movies are a most see. (along with James Bond, Transformers, Most war movies, 300 etc...)
Now I used to hunt, and I have killed many animals, and I have gutted deer. So violence and blood and gore in movies doesn't affect me. Why should it when I have seen the real thing?
But this movie changed that...
We have all seen Saving Private Ryan and remember the beach scene. That scene was 1/10 of how far Rambo goes. And that scene wasn't the whole movie.
After watching Rambo, I was sick. I didn't throw or anything, I just didn't want to eat.
Anybody remember Kill Bill? I was told to watch it because it had "great fight scenes" the whole point of that movie was to watch people die.
and thats what rambo was...but in incredibly more violent way.
* Sidenote, in Rambo Sylvester Stallone never took off his shirt! Never! Shocking I know.
Would I recommend it? I don't know, its not a date movie thats for sure, and if you can't stand blood, guts, and watching guys thoats being ripped out, then I would probably wouldn't.

The old times are killing me...
The other day my dad told me that he didn't like Phelps. At all.
So I started thinking about Mark Spitz.
In case you didn't know Mark Spitz won 7 gold medals in the 1972 Munich Olympic games. But he isn't remembered for dominating at the 1972 games instead the 1972 Munich games will always be remembered for this. A side note, mark spitz is complaining about not being invited to watch Phelps try to break his record. Just sharing.
But here is where I am going with this:
I am watching my generations heros become heros. And in the process the old heros (mark Spitz) are being dethroned by the new heros (Phelps). And I couldn't enjoy it more. I'm exicted to see what my generations becomes.
But at the same time, I kinda feel bad for my dad as his generations heros are being replaced.
So come Phelps! lets see eight!
*I sure hope the 2008 Beijing Olympics is remermbered more for the breaking of records then Russia invading...

What would you of done?
Now I was on the phone with my sis when this happened, and she can relate I was at a loss on what to do. Running through my mind was three options.
1. Stop and see if I could help the guy.
2. Call the cops.
3. Keep driving.
As you all know, I'm never at a loss for words or not know what to do.
But I was at a loss here.
And in the end i keep on driving.
The guy who was getting shot at wasn't screaming or running, but he didn't look happy.
So what would of you done?
*I'm putting up a poll but feel free to comment and explain why you picked what you picked. *

From the depths of hell comes...
Now I am a pretty happy-go lucky person. But if theres one thing that I hate more on this earth besides being sticky it would have to be Scrabble.
Nothing on this earth drives me to frustration then a game that I can't win at. Or understand.
I have played this "game" one maybe two and maybe god forbid three times, and after the last time I vowed to never play again. Ever. but I know some people, *Cough* Cough* Cough* will try their best to trick me into playing.
I really do hate the so called game of Scrabble. And crossword puzzles. And being sticky. And the other major evil.
End rant. Thats all I got.
(now you may ask why I posted this, to which i ask you "why not? Why wouldn't the world want to know of the one thing in the world that I hate?")

The Olympics
But I don't love the current Olympics.
I really do like the idea of the world getting together and competing. But i'm really disappointed in what its turning out to be.
I guess that's all I got on it.
And I will be watching the some of the Olympic games.

A Totally Random Post
But last night I planned badminton with the family in the backyard. And I had a blast . Probably the most fun I have had in a week or so. I really enjoyed it. So thanks Ben and Jess.
Also I did have a fun time with nate the saint.
random thing. My Pandora Radio station (The Shiz Radio) is pretty much my ipod which is in turn like 107.7 the end. but better!
another random fact. 90% of people, when asked what is a goatee, touch their chin.

Da bomb
I am NOT going to Central Washington University this year. Or at all.
I WILL be going to Western in winter quarter.
This fall I will be attending the OC or spscc (again)
Shocked?
My dad and I were talking and I would be saving my self upwards of 6-8 THOUSAND dollars by going taking two or three classes at the local community college.
So I guess thoughts? Comments? Suggestions? Angry hater notes? Leave away, I will answer any questions raised. I really do appreciate your honest feed back.
Peace

The mobs question (teaser)
well I have chosen to give out a teaser. I now have four ideas of which I plan on giving to the mob.
Now this is very rough and just an IDEA but something that I think our church should do is:
Set up a mentoring program where ONE guy meets from each age group. (50+) (35-50) (20-35) (16-20) and have a MOB style of bible study. (kinda like this idea)
This would of been GREAT for me, and I think there is ton of potential, but the key is that you can't force people into it. I do not know if it would work for women and girls.
But there is my teaser, I will try to post my others Sunday.

Here we go again
And after my headache* wore off, I got to thinking and I found my three. I will try to post them Sunday.
* Something that I got from my dad is migraines. I get about one or two a year and they hurt like crazy, the only thing that you can do is sleep it off. Well yesterday I got one and went to bed right away, sadly I could not sleep it off. Finally after about 20 hours it wore off.
It was the worst headache I have ever had.

Because I know your wondering...
It all started at 5 in the morning when my dad woke me up and informed me that he was really really sorry but he needed to take the truck.
So the bad news was that we were going to take the thunder-mobile.
So after being able to go back to sleep, I killed time till it was time to pick up Lauree.
Off I went, first stop, flowers.
Next her place.
Then off we went, on the highway of death.
We made it up to Bremerton all ok but couldn't really find any parking. The bad news was that we missed the ferry. But it all worked out ok as we got to walk around the dock and saw a sub.
After reaching Seattle we headed off to Pikes Place, after circling around it we made it. We ate at this really cool Italian place who had a awesome cook/waiter. And also the best lemonade I have ever had.
After that we went to the new Seattle library. If you have not been there I suggest you go, it was really cool.
Then we went to Pioneer square, where after grabbing some coffee, we sat and had a great time. One of the things we did was pick a random person and try to guess what they did for a living and what was one thing they liked doing.
After that we grabbed some fresh raspberry and headed home.
All and all it was a great day and I tons of fun, but something that I came away with is how much I love Seattle. Every time I go back I remember that fact.

who knows why...
- . - . 1914 to - . - . 1915 - Lt Colonel A.J Foster
Led the battalion into battle at Ypres during April 1915. However, he fell ill during July 1915 and returned to England to convalesce.
Appointed Deputy Assistant Director at the Ministry of Munitions 16th Sep 1915.
(his title sounds like mine, appointed assistant to the assistant project manger at CCI solutions) and the guy looks a little like Hitler)
Plus there was aj foster in the civil war, he fought for the south and died after making captain.

Capital Punishment Part I
Yesterday the mob met (missing Nate L and S and Kyle)
And our topic was about Capital Punishment, is it right or wrong.
Before I had never made up my mind, but now I have.
And I believe that Capital Punishment is wrong.
I believe that if God wants you dead then your going to die.
Now some people argue that God can use people to kill people.
And heres my take on that, How do you know? People are full of sin and can’t that affect their judgment? Why would God want someone to kill someone else? From what I have seen is Jesus is ALL about forgiveness. Can you really kill someone and forgive them too?
For example in the old testament God opened up the ground to kill people, the Holy Spirit whacked some couple who lied about money.
You can’t hide from God. I’m proof of that.
Even God didn’t kill Cain…
So heres my quick take on it.
What right do we (as sinful humans) to send people to hell forever and ever? Because isn’t that what your doing when your killing an unsaved person?
I plan on posting a part II later tonight, with my notes and verses that back me up.
(By the way the MOB was split on this Adam and Drew for and Jw and I against.)

Flowers
I guess you can say I’m back in the flower buying/giving game. And little did I know that this game has rules. For example go here.
Which got me thinking who why did they got to choose these meanings?
For example lets take the dandelion, it looks like a flower (I know it’s a weed but still it looks like a flower), who got to decide it was a weed in the first place?
Well if I was in charge of what flowers meant this is how it would work.
1. We would take apart the word. Lets break it into two words, Dandy-Lion.
2. Dandy means: something or someone of exceptional or first-rate quality.
3. And lion: (as an adjective) a person of great importance, influence, charm, etc., who is much admired as a celebrity
4. So if we put them together we get: A first rate person of great importance.
I like it. (and this does NOT mean that I will give some dandelions)
p.s. I guess giving a dandelion means: Wishes come true. (how lame is that?)
With this whole flower thing I envision something like the N.W.A (hot fuzz anyone?), a creepy secret society of old people who rule the flower industry who let nothing or anyone stand in their way.

Just Because I Can
This picture is possibly my favorite one that I have ever taken and part of that has to deal with the memories involved. The day I took this picture was the day I decided not to hunt anymore.
This is my favorite picture from the rotc time, These two people were really my best friends in the unit.
This is from last years kids alive and every time I see it I always remember the great times I had.
This is hands down my favorite pic of my sister and I. I just wished she would of posed.
Maybe I will do a part II, but till then you check out my album here.
Today
It's kinda weird. But also kinda relaxing too.
Tomorrow I'm off and running again.

FYI
All my wall space is covered with posters, campaign posters, etc etc etc. Really I cover my walls with memories.
But as I was looking around I noticed all my military posters that I had up, and kinda thought this part of my life is behind me. And so I took the posters down. Or covered them up.
And it felt good.
I'm finally moving on...

just to claify
I just wanted to post to claifly some things.
I blog for two and a half reasons.
1. To inform
2. To entertain.
The reason for the first one is probably the reason people come here.
And the reason for the second one is that I try really hard to make people smile, laugh, etc, etc. And so I also try with my blog too.
So at the end of the day I blog to inform you of what is going on in my life and my goal is have you leave with a smile. :)
So I leave with this: Hypnotoad!
(sorry if you don't get it, but my bro will laugh.)
(And the half is just because)

Camping part 5
that hike is going to be fun. Its steep there is trees down, and theres snow.
Crossing my fingers for some fish.
Today all the weekend campers should be leaving.
So that will be cool, but then there is greater chance that we get eaten by a bear.
Saturday, June 21, 2008
Camping part 4
Justin leaves and so does kyle.
I really have no idea what we are going to do tomorrow.
Friday, June 20, 2008
Camping part 3
Tonight we will eat steaks again.
Im really looking forward to the campfire discussion that should happen.
Now I will be getting nervous at the weather as we may get snow.
I really hope we get some fresh fish.
Thursday, June 19, 2008
Camping part 2
So today is the day that we start really camping.
Last night we had steak, and I hope it was good.
on the plan for today is fishing.
We are going to try our hand on fishing. Nate and Kyle are going fly fishing and Im going to be floating around going for the big boys, Hopefully we will get fish for lunch, as sandwiches are planed.
My plan is to wake up early and spend some much needed time with the big man upstairs. (which is why this post is posted when I plan on doing this)
Ummmm, I really am looking forward to watching the sunsets and sunrises.
Tomorrow Justin comes up.

Camping part 1
Well we should start hiking right about now (11:30) my pack probably ways a lot and nathan has probably already started to complain. up ahead we have 3.8 mile hike.
Right now i am probably really exicted about going away from everything for up to seven days. (some things were harder to leave then others)
Also I am worried about fire wood. If we can't get wood dry then we are screwed.
And I got my fingers crossed for good weather.
Tuesday, June 17, 2008
The day ahead.
I had a great dinner tonight with an awesome person who just keeps getting awesomer every day.
I had a fun time shopping with the guys.
My pack is heavy and big.
We have a lot of food.
And I mean a lot. 234 dollars worth.
I have decided to leave my ipod, and while I will miss her, I think its for the better.
Bringing up my bible instead and getting excited for that.
I have a feeling this is going to be one of the greatest weeks of my life.
Monday, June 16, 2008
Huh?
Well I have been enjoying one of the best weeks ever.
Also i had to get some stuff to do with school.
And well I try to post some delay posts so when I'm gone for a week coming this wedesnday you'll have something to read.
But right now lifes good.
And thats all that I wanted to communicate.
(on a side note my dads gone to Japan for three weeks, which sucks... but I have been cheered up )

CWU
write about going to CWU and your college years in general. Discuss your plans, fears, things you're looking forward to, dreading, apprehensive about, excited about, etc. how do you feel about it all? What do you expect it to be like?
jeremy thought that I should right about this so i will.
My plans for CWU involve getting involved into a church right away. I would also try find a way to get my name out there as a soundman.
My greatest fear is that I wont fit in. but besides that it would be that I 1. Fall away from my faith (not likely but still a fear) and that I fall into a troublesome group.
I am looking forward to restarting. I feel like I need a redo and I think that CWU will give me a chance to do that.
I am dreading meeting my roomie, I just have visions of people who I don't get along with and just picture living with that person for a year.
I feel real good about going, considering that a couple of weeks ago I wasn't planing on going to college and now I am its cool. I do play on getting more involved with sports as I really miss playing them.
I am worried about my curse of the trouble circle. See every class I have been in has had the trouble circle and I also have had the trouble circle center itself around me, and well thats bad news bears for me. (and the teacher)
So thats it for now maybe more later,
Peace out folks...

I hate forwards and anything like that Crap.
I really do hate forwards and REFUSE to open them or (god forbid) pass them on.
Come on people you don't get your news from a forward.
I hate it when I get forwards in the email, myspace, cell phone, or anything else and now Freaking blogger has been bit by the evil forward bug.
So for Gods sake don't unleash the (above) evil upon the world! Kill the forward when you receive it. (I personally find that you get more satisfaction using a old-school weapon)
Don't ever pass it on or i will have this Santa come to your house this Christmas. Some of you know me well and thinking I may be joking, but let me tell you I am not! I dead serious! Maybe even Deadly.
I am totally not kidding. (end rant)
anyone else feel this way?

Sitting here thinking
I can't wait to refresh.
start over.
rebegin.
renew.
College is looming and I am ready to greet it with open arms.
See I may love shelton but I feel "held" down. like I
I feel like I cant do anything and havn't been able to do anything.
So I can't wait to go to ellesburg and start over.
I think that going will give me the chances to start over.
I feel like i will be able to impact ellesburg.
I feel like I will be able to make a difference.
and I am getting excited, I really feel like I have a chance to help the world out. To make an impact.
its time to refresh.
oops
i delete this post after a bit.
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Spoiler alert! I will be talking about the movie soo... you have been warned.
I liked indy. In fact he was my childhood hero.
This (above) is/was who I wanted to be. A man with a whip, a six shooter, and a leather outfit.
Other kids had spiderman or superman but I had a hero who I could actually become. (ha! look at me now)
So i was super and I mean SUPER exited here they were making another one.
and heres the movie review:
The movie started out great! It was funny and had some good action scenes, but once it got to the "aliens" part the movie just seemed to die. The last 20 or so minutes SUCKED and Ruined the movie for me. Totally ruined it. It was just weird with all the alien crap going on. I do not believe in aliens and don't know how people can, but this wasn't a sci-fi crap but an Indiana Jones Movie, you know the type with fist punching, crazy villains, explosions. You all know what I am talking about. But GEORGE LUCAS ruined this movie for me and all the other hard core Indy fans. (read this story). Spielberg is a great director and he did an awesome job. It really was made great. It looked great and sounded great (as good as you can get at shelton). but the problem wasn't the acting (also good/boarder line great) but the Freaking script and that was Lucas part. I am not a big fan of Lucas and believe that he is quite crazy and I think his craziness showed here.
i feel like indy has been dragged through the mud:
anyone catch the old indy joke that could go with the pic?

Crash, bang, boom.
about a week ago Nathan picked me up so we could do something w/the mob. I forgot something in my house and ran inside through the garage I crashed hard. What broke my fall was my left knee. (the best way of explaining it is a twenty car collision on I-5)
Need less to say it hurt but I took a can of man up and went on trucking.
Well since then my i can't put any pressure on my "bad" knee and it now hurts to walk, plus the left one is bigger then the my right knee.
I came back from beach and look it up and I believe my knee cap is cracked which equals a cast from ankle to thigh for six weeks. No bueno.

Sometimes I hate making up titles.
I did my senior project and boy am I glad that’s done.
I kinda lost my wallet yesterday, I had just cashed my paycheck and poof it was all gone, more on that later.
We lost in softball in fact we got thumped. I get a standup double with three rbi’s. (more on this later)
Now on to the wallet/softball thing. I shocked myself yesterday. I never lost control of my emotions and made any “rash” choices.
As a man who likes to fly by the seat of his pants, I don’t normally keep my emotions in check, but it was something that I have been working on. And to my surprise its working/worked.
I am/was shocked.
And yet a part of me says “nice going AJ, but now we moving on to the next one”
so i guess here we go.
Huh?
I will post about my week later.
Peace out.

Music
Placebo may be old but still good if you like alternative/electric.
Ludo is "new" but I only like one song (Love Me Dead) I do believe they are a one hit wonder.
Two times by The Blakes is an interesting song, I have a love/hate relationship with it.
The CD Punk Goes Crunk is a very well done cd, the punk bands sound good singing "crunk" songs.
New band that you never heard off but is good...
Slowly we Survive (or for you hard rock fans) A Hope For Home.
Most listened band on my ipod last week...
She Wants Revenge
also Angels and Airwaves is my alternative band and totally in my top three.
just for the record my top fav bands are (really in no order)
1. Project 86
2. Rise Against
3. Angels and Airwaves
4. Chevelle
5. The Raconteurs/Snow Patrol

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
I don't really know why I feel like this. Maybe because we are running around "killing" people.
It kinda seems do as I say not as I do?
To clarify I still am going airsofting this Saturday, but will keep thinking about it. (thats a open invite, just let me know)
Update...After thinking hard about this I wonder if it has to deal with the fact that I have killed living "real" animals. (4 deer) I don't hunt anymore either.
So still thinking over here, your input would be GREATLY appreciated.

So...
I am really getting excited about going to CWU. but I didn't realize all I have to do, pick a place to live food plan, etc, etc, etc.
Kinda getting over whelmed.
I really like going airsofting with the guys. Most times its just the Marinade crew and I think thats just perfect.
Fort Knox still stands and can not be beaten.
Whats up with the M's? Come on get your act together.
College football spring games have started.
I can't wait for it to start up again.
that is all.

The M's
Sound Good?
The M's.
I am really excited about this years team, they are a good team and I really think that we have a shot at beating the evil angels.
But there is one thing we don't have and thats a GOOD powerful DH, and I have just the man...
FRANK THOMAS. Yes he just got kicked out by the Blue Jays but he will hit 20-25 hr's. Sexsons looking BETTER but Thomas would be great in the line-up. Give a 3 million 1 year deal with team option. Fair? I think so.
So come M's lets make a playoff push!
Now on to my post.
I will try to do my best to explain. Everything I have ever done from baseball to music to knowledge bowl to track to rotc to driving to hunting etc..., has been done to find me. You know that one thing that you do really well that defines you?
I am looking for "it".
Searching.
If this answer doesn't satisfy you then comment and i will answer.
and to leave you laughing, this might be my fav. M highlight.

I am...
Real deep:
Who am I? What makes me me? What/Who defines me? Who is behind my eyes? Who is the guy looking in the mirror?
See I have never "found" myself, now I am looking for me.
I might explain tomorrow.
So don't think I am crazy quite yet.
just in chance your bored.
Two great new bands, Flobots, great band, like the message they bring. Listen to them for free here, another band Cobra Starship, also really good. listen here.
If you really follow sports (football) you will like this story. I don't think most of you will get it, but maybe ryan. trust me its funny.
I found out some cool stuff on ebay you can buy this (tempting I think so) but you can't buy this. ( i was curious ok? DONT JUDGE ME)
so all those gun haters (or lovers) this is for you.

Not like anyone comments anymore but what the heck.

In Love
With Baseball.
In fact I always have been, but I really am excited about this season.
But I miss playing Americas past time.
I really wished I never got hit in the mouth.
See I come from some really good baseball roots. In fact my dad was/is really good, but he got his shoulder hit and so no more pitching for him.
And well I used to be pretty good, (not pro material BUT maybe college) I was a really good contact hitter, but one day I was warming up a pitcher and he threw a knuckle ball. and if you don't what that it is it's basically the wildest pitch you can throw. NO ONE and I repeat NO ONE knows where it is going to go. It can break 10 inches or it can even float up (not really but it seems like that). And since you don't know what its going to do you cant really catch it. (heres a really good read about the pitch)
and well the pitch looked like it was going down but it didn't and i got hit in the mouth. It mother-freaking hurt. The worst part was the that I had braces on (which is why I still have teeth, doc said that with out them I would of lost about 7 teeth) when I got hit so my cheek (and I mean my whole cheek)got stuck. Long story short, I still have scars on the inside of my cheek and my ability to hit was gone. My batting avg. fell from .360ish to about .170ish. I feared the ball. Now I can still hit "slow" pitches of 60-65 mph range but 70mph and up is a different story. I just try to draw a walk or "take one for the team".
So I don't know why I am so exicted about baseball again.
Maybe I finaly got over my fear, I don't know.
But I have the itch.
Later I think I will write about why I love baseball.

Yo Yo Yo
Back in the good old USA.
Back to life you could say.
So here is my thoughts on Hondras.
I had A LOT of fun. Lots more then last time.
I remembered how much I loved the open water. (probably why I liked the navy in the first place)
It was really cool hanging out with all the kids. the ones that we like we gave nick-names to them. (Nugget, Serious Face, (Serious Face's brother: Fighter). the time that I spent with them was really cool and I wont forget it.
I really missed sports.
I really missed talking to people about sports.
Zach got me started on a AWESOME book. One that I plan on buying.
I came back with tons of good memories, and while I DIDN'T learn a lot, I did listen more.
I want to post more, but I don't want to take any stories from any one else. So you can expect one more post after this one. (hint) the Hawaii post WILL be included.

Joe (my bosses boss) had a bad (or brad?) day, so after freaking out, brad put up this sign.
And you all remember my uke? the one i took to snow up in da freaking Cananda. (yes I ment to type that) well I burnt it. It was a sad day and in the end I just couldn't do it so I saved part of it. the rest are the ashes in the sobe bottle. (and yes in fact the neck is hanging on my wall)

And out in right field...
This post all started out two years ago so hang on...
Nate and I were going door to door asking people to come to this thing that an old lady put on in the church. Nate and I had a strategy down, I hit one house then he hit the other. Other then that we "sold" our "product" differently. Nate's strategy was to say that this was event that you could learn about God etc etc etc. Me on the other hand had a different approach. To my "clients" I told them that it was a time of fun, a chance to relax with the kids. There would be games, food, and paddle boat rides. I made it seem like a blast.
every door Nathan tried got slammed in his face.
EVERY one that I tried took the flier and said that it sounded great and they would be there.
To this day what I did can/will keep me up at night.
I feel like it was wrong. I hid the truth. I hid God.
What I did was wrong right? I used "goodies to cover up the fact that the whole event was about God.
I think most of you would agree.
I would agree.
stop here. decide if you agree or not.
Part two:
Last Wednesday Nate, Justin, and I watch a Mars Hill sermon on good Friday called the day of atonement. It was good and I liked it. At the end Justin said that Mars Hill was going to crucify someone on Friday. I have not seen or heard how this went, but this is what the post is about.
I watch the video promoting it and I started to kinda get angry. I felt like they were using the crucifixion as a hook. So I have been asking myself why would they do that? and the only answer I came up with is that they are trying to be so "out" there that people would come. I mean come on what churches do you see doing this?
So here's my thing, I want to post more on this but I think that if you give you should get, so people talk to me, tell me what you believe, is this right?
by the way...thanks for reading my blog.
