So this thanksgiving I had a lot of fun but where there are two things that stick out.
1. I did not have turkey this thanksgiving, instead I had ham. Why? don't really know, maybe because we should worship the turkey. or have on day just for the turkey? what about pig day, cow day or chicken day? I actually enjoyed boycotting turkey.
2. My uncle brought his Wii. It was awesome. some neat facts.
I am the baseball king
I suck at bowling
I suck at mini games
But i rule at real games.
I really like the wii, and found myself liking it more then my x-box. shooting games are awesome. I play red steel (good game) and medal of honor, while medal of honor was harder then any shooter game I play, I played my best ever.

the Wii rocks socks right off.
i LOVE our Wii.
i LOVE our "Wii experience".
i've been wanting to rent Red Steel... was it that good?
and Medal of Honor [vanguard or Heroes 2?]... all the hardcore gamers say it's weaksauce because it's the same old tired story. they say they are "tired of killing Nazis". here's the thing, i'm tired of killing aliens but that's not slowing down the sales of halo 3 is it? and i've been doing that for way longer! anyway, all that to say is it's suffered some bad reviews. what's your full review on it?
and more importantly, i'm all about a game's "replay value"... namely, how was the multiplayer? could you play it for hours, like the halo multiplayer? if it has a solid multiplayer, i'm renting it next to try it, then i'd buy a used copy.
let me know.
i'm super curious.
put a Wii on your christmas list. there's a sweet star wars jedi game coming out for it real soon, so you and your bro should go in on it together... AND it's got the best average ESRB rating of all the systems, and is generally considered to be the most "family friendly"... that should help on the home front!
;)
the red steel was cool because it was different. I did not like the story line or the way it was done. A good way to kill a weekend. Rent not buy. Medal of honor was the same old same old, but I like it. You were in the airborne and had to drop into position by parachute. (hint don't drop into a middle of German platoon) I really like the interactive with the wii controllers with how you shot. My stats improved greatly. (about half of my kills were head shots) replay would be good if you had 4 controllers and four people would knew how to play. Me and uncle were about even, my bro not so much.
My advice. rent red steel for a weekend when its just you or some guy thing. and medal of honor a pretty good game, same old but better. By the way on Medal of honor the guns were super realistic in everything. Good fame to pick up later (20 dollars range/used)
