My Super Tuesday

So I will do a quick run down on the candidates.

Hilliary Clinton. I will not vote for, because of this reason, we have had two families in the white house for 20? years. I vote for not making 28. We need change. So chances of liking her 5%

Barack Obama. I like him. I like his stances. and most of all I like the change he will bring to our nation. Sometimes I think you have to look past the policies and look deeper. So chances of liking him 95%

John Edwards. He will be the only candidate that i will review that is out. I think that if Edwards was still running he would give obama a run for my vote. I like him. I like his stances. So chances of liking him 88%

McCain. I think that i might like him most check back later. So chances of liking him 45%

Rommey. hes to much of a politician. So chances of liking him 15%

Huckabee. Same as I think that I might like him but probably not. 35% chance to like him.

Paul. I see his point on somethings but the things I see do not out weigh the things I don't like about him. So chances of liking him 10%

So new standings are. I will continue to update later after super Tuesday.

1st Obama
2nd Edwards (out)
2nd McCain
3rd Huckabee
4th Paul
5th Clinton

So my vote is two Obama

What does this mean? I mean it's great rhetoric, but I could say the exact same thing by stating "I am voting for the guy who is popular and cool and so voting for him I will be cool too!"

When you say you look "past" his policy, what are you looking at? Isn't policy the meat of the political dish? I mean if a guy "makes me feel good" while he is stealing my car, he is still stealing my car! So I am genuinely asking, other than making the pick "because it's cool"... which is sadly as valid a reason as any (JFK got voted in because he looked good, no one said Presidential Elections weren't popularity contests), is there any other reason you are voting Obama?

Also, you said you are voting for Obama, does that just mean in the general election, or are you actually going to go and caucus for Obama? Did you know WA State had a caucus AND a primary? Do you know when it is? Do you know where it is? If not, even tho I don't agree with Obama, I can get you the info if you actually are wanting to support your candidate.

Alright I will post tomorrow or Thursday on why I like Obama. Can't really do it right now.
Look past his policy as in how he talks, charisma, whether people respect him, stuff like that. You can still respect and admire the guy stilling your car (lame example I know)
I have voted in the primary, but not in the caucus. The caucus is this Saturday. Thanks for your support and offer of help. But I have a question for:
*this isn't a jab or anything*
After the nominations are released who are you going to vote for in the "real" election, still ron paul or do you have a plan B?

its too bad there isn't weight given to a persons vote based upon some qualifications.

One cast vote based upon favorable superficial characteristics has equal weight with one vote based upon much participation, research and knowledge of the process and candidates.
