how can these two things connect?

So i was driving today and saw this bumper sticker again and for some odd reason i happened to remember the first time i saw it.
I don't remember how old i was when first saw it but i remember really liking it.
if it was only that simple.

the next time i went to this place i looked for it. Surprise it wasn't there!

I believe what i believe but I ALSO believe that its something that should be done peacefully. I expect people to respect my beliefs and in return i will respect theirs.
but what about evangelicalism you may ask?

well because i love to use lame analogies i'll use this one (sorry best one i can find)

Morpheus takes one person at a time and when he thinks they are ready tells them about the Matrix. Now in this case Neo know that something was wrong/different. but in the end he could make the choice.

I don't know, i'm just ready for people to coexist. it just seems to easy and simple to me. Save one at a time on a very personal level.
shrug.
peace out folks.
and if you got bored or asked your self why you were readying this post heres a pretty cool video of free running. you can see santa claus in it too.

i'm just green with jealous rage right now.

whoo hoo!

Yesterday i got to go a mariners game with @theelbow. it was awesome! the m's won. like what happens everytime i go. no joke. every game i've went to they are have won. it was a defensive struggle where the only run was scored with the second pitch with an Ichiro! home run. hecka yes!

and we always got to watch King Felix pitch 7 innings of scoreless ball.

other then that check out this picture:

story is here.

other then that i've been told that the videos that i've been up loading to the blog hasn't been showing up on google reader. so i guess the only thing do is come to the blog. other then that i'll try to figure out something more "important" to write about.

peace out folks,

me

see i'm alive.

i have no idea what to write anymore.
at all. but I'm gonna try again.
So i just got back from a pretty awesome weekend at Western Washington University. I hung out with danny and nathan. I had a blast.
besides doing lots of things like free running (which i will commit to next time nathan!) I found out that I'm on a so-called waiting list for Western Washington University and so if nathan and danny start beating up some wannabe freshman, next year i'll be in. at least thats how i understand it can work. but the girl also said that if i don't get in for fall then i'm good to go for winter.

unfortunately with this economy my job is very wishy washy so i'm currently looking around for something. Ideally i would like to find a job that could transfer up to Bellingham like home depot or something.

but pretty much i just want to say that last weekend was probably the most encouraging weekend i've had in a long time.
it was amazing thanks for a great time danny and nathan!

other then that i dont really know what else i should write about. if somebody out would like me to post something about something just let me know.
and btw totally random but i really miss all the bloggers... ie b-handsome, puaahunter, the little things (i understand why some of those people dont blog, which is pretty dumb. )

peace out people.

and can i just say that you shouldn't do this at home. or away. or anywhere.

i think that person may be the in the top 10 of dumbest people alive.

peace out folks.

swing and a miss.

I've been a slump lately. i've felt like this for the past
its just lately seemed like everything i've done has fallen short.

I don't know i've been trying to figure out what the cause of this is (i'm pretty sure its some form of sin)

some days its just harder to get up for i guess.

(look i'm not complaining. I have a pretty dang good life, i just need to somewhat get my thoughts out)

do i really need a title?

That one question you know?

First off I want to say that I know that I am a very prideful person. I know that i'm also very egotistical. But I have been working on that. For a long time. and I think i'm getting better at that. you be the judge.

but here we go:

I think that everyone has that "one" question they want to ask God.
and no its not: Can God make a rock so big that even he can't move it? (or my new personal favorite) Can God cook a hot pocket so hot that even he can't eat it?
hmm hot pockets. yum. back to the real question:

Mine isn't really a question but I want to see something. Not how thick the gold is on the streets or anything like that.
But I want to see what humility looks like. I want to see how God, with everyone/thing worshiping him, "handles it". I mean i was made to worship. so when i worship how does God react?
What does true/pure humility look like?

-btw so far most of the humility i've seen is driven more by pride. or how it seems to me. (i'm sorry but I don't know how to explain that thought with writing. ask me next time you see me.)

I don't know if that makes sense. But to me it does and I did not know what else to write.

friends

I just want to say that I have the coolest bunch of friends.
maybe more later about that but till then...

peace

:(

I think my ipod is dead.
i am sad.

Friday, December 19, 2008

hmmm...

I got nothing. I could tell you about my trip up to Seattle and how much fun i had. I could tell you that I love the snow. I could tell you that I like what the Mariners are doing. I could tell you that 19 feels no different the 18. I could tell you all about that stuff but I'm sure you already know it.

Just curious

but does anyone else wish that the could have their own personalised soundtrack to their life that you could turn off when you wanted to?
I do.

I have a feeling that the Muse's Knights of Cydonia, Mims This is why I'm hot, MC Hammer's You Cant Touch this, Fort Minors Remember Thy Name, Jay-Z's Dirt Off Your Shoulders, The Offspring's You Gonna Go Far Kid, Death Cab for Cuties I will Possess Your Heart, Chris Cornell's You know my Name, Cake's The Distance Black Sabbath's Iron Man, and last but not least Justin Timberlake Sexyback would be playing a lot.

I'm feeling to lazy to link to them all so go at it yourself: youtube. when your listening think of me and how it would work. (some of these are insiders jokes, too bad for those of you who aren't on *whisper* the inside)
and if you have any more ideas comment away.
but again this is a sound track to my life... I think these are all fitting in one way or another.
peace

365 or 19 take your pick.

365 days ago I was in Hawaii. Feels really weird. Life went fast. Some much happen.
In no order whatso ever.

1. Went to Honduras and had an amazing time with the guys. plus something else happened too...
2. I have a girlfriend.
3. I did the unthinkable (or so I thought at the time) and quit rotc, and while i don't regret that I do regret not talking to Sargent Major.
4. Got into Central.
5. Decided not to go to Central.
6. Broke my nose and now I can't really breath out of the right nostril. which is really cool but also really annoying at the same time.
7. Went on a AMAZING road trip and got PAID for it.
8. Paid more for a dinner then i ever thought i would.
9. Grew up just a little bit more.
10. Knowing that I'm still a kid at heart as evidence as spending an half hour last night sliding around town.
11. Spent the most money I ever had before on a laptop.
12. Voted.
13. Had my faith tested in ways I never knew about my dedication to Mariners baseball.
14. Knowing that I have an awesome family and amazing group of friends.
15. Really started become "me". (not defined by others)
16. Trying to know everything. (gotta love those random facts/just saying sayings)
17. watching/feeling my pride/ego get destroyed and knowing I'll be a better man because of it.
18. I feel like adult.
19. It feels REALLY REALLY weird that in one year I'll be 20. a couple years ago twenty was OLD. Gasp! am i getting old? please no.

Bam!
There you go. 19 facts and other crap. I hope your all happy now that I'm back posting.

hmmm...

Last night I couldn't sleep.
At all. (well I got an half an hour 6:00am-6:30am) So what I did i do?
well I watched season 7 of scrubs.
played some football.
listened to some music.
thunked.
but at some point between 2:30-4:00, I can't remember when. I made some hot coco and went and sat outside.
I do that a lot, sometimes just watch the stars.

and while I don't know if I was out there for 10 minutes or 2 hours, it hit me.

What I wanted and should do with my life.

It made sense, and when I realized it, it was one of the most peaceful feelings in my life.

I stood up, feeling/wanting to tell someone but everyone was asleep. :(

And this morning, I still felt that peace.

but,

I couldn't/can't remember what I choose/decided/found out.

And it really really sucks.

and I don't know what to do (again)

The name is bond, James Bond

I am tempted to talk about how I love James Bond movies or I could talk about how I always wanted to be James Bond growing up. Instead I'll save my time and yours (because do you really want to read that?) and just leave this awesome pictures of one of the all time coolest heros ever!
