Quit Stalking ME!!!!
So i have a bone to pick you some of you. If you are one of these people you should really stop. So here it goes.
At SPSCC parking is limited, so if you have a good spot, your stalked. Literally you are hunted down by drivers in their rice burners. You ever get that feeling liked you being watched? Well if your walking to your car you get that all the time, you know this car is following you, but when you look behind, they act like they are not following. Then you keep walking and they keep following. So in other words, if you hunt people for good parking spots here, or at wal-mart, or church, or wherever. Stop!

The good, the bad, and the ugly
So I like football. I mean I really like football. I love to watch and really regret not playing it in high school. But I'm really looking forward to Nov.4. All you football ball fans will know that this is the day that the colts meet the patriots, in whats being called the best football game of the regular season ever. And I think one of the reasons that this game is so big is that its pretty much good vs. evil.
The Colts are the good and here's why.
team:defending champs but are really humble.
Star: Peyton Manning is in like a thousand commercials but still pokes fun at himself and is a family guy, who hasn't missed a thanksgiving game with his family ever.
Coach: Never gets mad, has never cussed at his players, is honest, and is graceful in defeat.
Now the bad. (patriots)
Team: The team is all about themselves, they complain that they don't get enough praise.
Star: Tom Brady all about himself, never does any charity work and goes form one supermodel to another like this (snap) Other words prideful.
Coach. Freaks out at every loss, and the worst thing, running up the score.
and the ugly. Can you believe how bad the Rams are doing this year, my prediction: one win for rams, two wins for Miami. and norv Turner gets fired.
So Nov. 4 I'm going for the good guys and hoping for the colts.
Also this is opinion boy for today. (that is also starting up)

A Smile
So today, I was driving into school with Nate and we took the on ramp where there was this truck parked there. No hazards or anything like that, + he's blocking like half the onramp so I passed him. When we looked back this is what he looked like. It was really creepy. Here is this guy just sitting there, blocking traffic and smiling. Hello crazyville.

The Judge
So today I went to the mall with some friends and I noticed something about myself, I judge people. Now yes I know I judge people, but most time I do it on purpose. But today I noticed that every one we passed was judged. I ranked them in importance, coolyness (yes that is collyness) and really everything that you would judge someone on. So I declare that form now on I going to try my best to stop judging people. Help me out people.
I'mmmm back!!!
so this weekend we had our ROTC freshman orientation. Since i was the xo, i was responsible for about fifty cadets. Long story short it was fun but i had to have a watch (200-400) also was the watch officer for Saturday night (which means i got 2 hours of sleep). For Thursday-Sunday i got a total of 10 hours of sleep, but then i went home and logged 15 1/2 hours of sleep. so really this is just say that I'm back, and a better blog about this last weekend will be coming.

The Humbling Part dos
So back to my story (props to brad for offering to help) I now get on the highway back to shelton, but i have to go 40mph. Now Im not a speed racer but I do go about 65ish. So going 40mph started to drive me crazy, all these people were passing me and well, my pride was slowly getting shattered. But when i got to mud bay road my view points changed, maybe because i changed music or maybe something else, but i put on some hillsong and spent the better part of a hour, praying and thinking hard. I actually really enjoyed my long drive, I got to notice stuff that i had never noticed and it taught me the lesson and sometimes I need to slow down and enjoy life.
Something to think about
read, then think. Really i think that doing something like this would make you learn a lot.
Humbling Part 1.
So yesterday, I blew a tire. I pulled over and yep my tire was gone. So i got already to change when this guy came up, the following is the talk I had with him. and it was really hard to understand him.
him. Hi
me. Hello
him. What the problem?
me. I blew a tire.
him. You did?
me. Yeah.
him. you want help. I'm on my lunch.
me. no man, go eat your lunch.
him. you need jack?
me. no
him. You need to call?
me. Nope I'm good.
him. You sure?
me. Yeah, thanks a lot for asking.
him. You sure?
me. Yup thanks.
This guy really restored my faith in humans. I really realized that the average Joe is just a good guy.

Opinion Boy #2
the last one was kinda weak but heres one i bet most people don't know.
I believe that when you use the word "dang or Dat or son of a gun or witch or 'faster' or suck" you are in fact still cussing. (maybe a blog on this later)

Opinion Boy #1
Opinion Boy. Kinda rolls off your tongue doesn't? But I got called this today and I guess it really is true. I have a opinion about most things and generally don't worry about voicing them. So i think that from now on once a day, I'm going to state my opinion on something. So for future problems, if you have a problem with my opinion let me know! I like to argue my point and see how much i believe in something, but i much rather do it in person. So after all this here is my first opinion of the day.
I believe that Christian/home school are more harmful in the the kids future then it helps them right now.

Music
I have something that needs to be said, some will be sad and some may be happy, but according to i-tunes, I now listen to more alternative music then i do rock/metal. Just thought you might want to know. Now rock will always have a special place in my heart but for right it's alternatives job to brainwash me with their lyrics.

An Impact?
This is my report for my English class, the goal was to analyze an ad talk about its deeper meaning. So when you read this think about you can see the ad here (this isn't the ad but its close enough)
Impact
Product Red has a successful ad campaign for Converse shoe company. Product Red is a company that was started by U2’s Bono to help raise awareness to the mass public. The whole idea is that every time that an item is bought of Product Red design 5%-40% will be donated to the Global Fund. Product Red has four ad campaigns going on right now, the most popular and recognized is Converse. Together their ad promises that you can buy something that you need and help people while sacrificing nothing. The ad assures that you do not have to leave your comfort zone to help people half a world away. Every day our minds are bombarded with the idea that all we have to do to help people is buy a certain product and then we are done with our part.
When the ad is first glanced at the first thing you notice is the white Converse shoe with the words Combat Boot written across it. If the ad is studied a little deeper, you notice that the shoe is on a star. The star is also the same one that is on the shoe and as a tattoo on the person’s hand. These three stars on the floor, shoe, and hand represent that the person (little star) wants to make an impact, who by buying the Product Red Converse (medium star) makes an impact. The shoe is located on a star pattern that symbolizes that since the person has bought, the shoe he makes an impact, on which he started a chain reaction of people buying Product Red Converse shoes to help people in Africa. Even in the background, you see quarter inch cables and a bass guitar. Product Red is trying to appeal to the music crowd, trying to show that even musicians are cool because they wear Product Red Converse. The whole point of this ad is about the shoe, showing that the shoe is what makes the impact, convincing people that all they have to do is buy the shoe to help.
Purchasing the Converse is a good way to start helping the epidemic in Africa, but the point needs to be raised, that it can not and should not be the only way. There are two problems with this ad; the first is that it helps enforce the idea that you do not have to give up something to help. The whole purpose for this ad is that you can get something you need without feeling guilty. The ad focuses on the point that we all feel the need to help, but we do not want to have any discomfort in our own lives to help people. The second problem is that the sole purpose of the ad is to get you to buy the Converse shoe. The idea behind Product Red is great because it’s a way of showing your support to help fight Aids in Africa. It is a great start, but that is all it can be. Your support for Africa shouldn’t be limited to shirts, shoes and I-Pods. This ad should help motivate you to do more than just by shoes. We should use the talents that are given to us and help those that are less fortunate then we are.
Buying Product Red Converse shoes is a great start to helping a horrible situation in Africa, but we need to realize that it should only be a start. If we have the mindset that to help people, all we have to do is buy something that we already need, then realistically we’ve already lost the battle. We all need to step up and realize, that only by buying something we are not really helping. We need to change our minds and hearts.

The Cotton Candy Man From Hell.
Its time for the story about the cotton candy man. First off the cotton candy man is from hell. No if and or buts. But its story time kids, cotton candy man story time.
Sooo I went a mariner game on Sep. 12 2007, the mariners where in a uncontrollable slide and it was my duty to pull them back into a winning streak. (I have been to 8 games of which 8 have been won) I went with my fam and Nate the great. Sooo we get to the game and find out our seats are awesome, first row right field bleachers, home run territory. So we settle in our seats and get ready to watch the M's kick some A butt. But now I'm hungry I didn't eat breakfast or lunch and just had a hot dog for dinner, so i was ready for some food, some real food, like cotton candy! Just so happens that safeco field has a cotton candy man. What luck was this I asked, Here I am wishing for cotton candy and theres a cotton candy man. So the first inning went by and cotton candy was making his rounds around the field, innings 2,3, and 4 went by and the cotton candy man just kept on coming closer and closer. I started dreaming about the cotton candy, I couldn't wait to taste the sugar coated air. After a important play I looked for the cotton candy man and he was in the next section, So i turn back to the game and after the half inning i looked for the cotton candy man and where was he? At the freaking other end of the freaking field giving other freaking people my freaking cotton candy!!!(how many times can I use the word freaking?) So i was like fine he will be back. BUT HE DIDN'T!!!And i felt like crying. My dream of eating sugar air was gone! It popped like my dream of this being the M's "year". So needless to say, I hate the cotton candy man and hope that he dies in a freak foul ball thing, Oh by the way I ended up getting cheesy garlic fries.

Dumb people are attracted to other dumb people. Also crazy people are attracted to other crazy people.
So right now i stuck on how to prove this theory. After that the world will know my name.

Leadership
This is a paper that i wrote long ago for my Annapolis stuff. I think that people might enjoy it.
Leadership
What is a leader? A leader is someone who people look to in an emergency. A leader is not always the most popular or the most well liked. Leaders are not always the cut from the same mold, the one thing that leaders always have in common is the trait that causes leadership. Some of the common traits in a leader are patience, open-mindedness, integrity and social intelligence. In my life I have encounter all of these in my personal life.
One of the biggest that is of valuable experience to a leader is patience. With my experience as a leader sometimes I must teach things more then once. If you can be patient with someone that is struggling with an issue, then the rest of group will recognize that and respect you more. One of the big examples of patience in my life is when I commanded the unarmed drill for my local NJROTC unit. While I was commanding I would have to come early and stay late with some of the cadets as they struggled with advanced commands, but my work paid off and I got to watch the cadets grow and master moves that seemed impossible.
Open-mindedness is a trait that many people want other people to have but not themselves. A leader must have the trait of open-mindedness because people will respect someone who will listen to their ideas and actually think about them. One example is in NJROTC I redesigned our command structure to take advantages of our unit, when I presented it to my Naval Science Instructor, he noticed a flaw in my design that I had not noticed, and helped me fix to make my design better. If I have not been open-minded then I would have taken the advice of my NSI and would have allowed a flaw to hurt my unit because of closed-mindedness.
Integrity. Words that come to mind are honestly, trustworthy, authenticity, and genuine. Integrity is one of a leader’s biggest traits. Integrity allows people to trust you. If you do not have integrity with yourself then how can you have it with others? When people see that you have integrity they know that you are honest, trustworthy and genuine.
Social intelligence is a term that I hear being tossed around a lot but I believe that no really associate with leadership. Social intelligence is being aware of the motives and feelings of other people and knowing what to do to fit into different social situations and knowing what makes people tick and knowing why they do what they do. This is a two part trait, one half of it is something that you are born with and the second half is what you gain form personal experience. A leader must be able to play a crowd or be able to know why people do things and have a plan for dealing with circumstance. One example is that teachers will usually not start teaching their curriculum until they are able to read the class and recognize how the class needs to be taught to allow the students a greater chance of success.
